Description |
HP StorageWorks Command View XP Advanced Edition software is the newest full featured strategic device manager for XP disk arrays, incorporating XP array management, configuration, provisioning, and monitoring.
It supports the HP Storage Essentials suite of products, providing full functionality array management accessibility from higher levels of the enterprise software stack. Command View XP Advanced Edition monitors storage resources quickly and easily. It automates storage management processes, delivering more efficient utilization and control across distributed enterprise storage.
Command View XP Advanced Edition enables logical, physical and host management capabilities for XP disk arrays, provisioning and storage pooling for both primary and external storage, capacity analysis based on physical storage class, and offers multiple levels of security for storage administrators. Easy access to the XP Remote Web Console is provided which can be accessed from the GUI. The Remote Web Console software comes free of charge with every XP disk array and is useful for basic single array management and can be used standalone, however, it does not include a Command line interface (CLI) nor does it have SMI-S providers or other APIs.
